Safe In The Arms Of Love
by PamFord Davis

Toddler children laugh with glee when given the opportunity to jump from an elevated place into the arms of their parent. They have complete confidence in the one who loves and cares for them. The game offers only excitement when played with mommy or daddy. If a stranger invited them to take the leap of faith, they would hesitate or refuse.

Fires break out in tall apartment buildings and skyscrapers, leaving people trapped with no other away of escape than their windows. They depend upon professional firefighters using their ladder cranes to escort them to safety. At times, there is no choice but to jump onto the trampoline type apparatus held by the sturdy arms of the rescue team. Careless arms would never do.

We daily encounter crisis situations that do not make the news. We must seek help and are not sure whom to trust. To make the wrong choice would place us in jeopardy. "Alas, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! There is nothing too hard or too wonderful for You- (Jeremiah 32:17 Amplified Bible)." Creation arms offer security and break our falls; The Lord is waiting
