Rise Up
by S Mariah

Christian brothers and sisters, we need to rise up, voice out for God in our society. No longer will we sleep in silence, and thought we are just being tolerance. There should not be any tolerance about injustice, or any twisted teaching that drive our society crazy, it harms our next generation when the world go crazy and we allow it. We cannot bear a single moment just to stand and watch what is going on in the world. We have to do something. Whether we pray together for a particular issue or we voice out to the public that they know we are objecting something. Yes, something has to be done!

We cannot stand that the world is crying out, "justice, justice, equal right for same-sex marriage!" Oh come on, brothers and sisters, we cannot stand silence, we know in our hearts that it is not right, same-sex marriage is obviously a forbidden act, and it destroys the original plan of God. We need to be sure of what the Bible teaches us about 'marriage', 'marriage' is a holy act, not that we choose whatever we like, not that we choose whomsoever we marry to. It is a commitment, and most of all, in 'marriage' both sexes are the reflection of God's image. God has both tender nature and tough nature in Him. Both female and male are the representatives of God Himself. We shall not ignore the importance of "one man, one woman" rule in the Bible and our society belongs to God as well, let us not forget that, let us not to make our society human-driven. God is the ruler of
all nations, God is the Creator of the Universe, wherever you are, you belong to God, wherever you live, your country is God's. Our focus must be on God!

We are God's representatives on earth that we need to let God be the center of our country, pray and ask God for mercy to those who sin. Ask God to pour out His blessings on our country, but we do need to take part of what is going on, at least put yourself in a position of prayer. Gather together with those who are like-minded and plan to do something. While the world is on a crazy mode, we as Christians need to be on a prayer mode. Let us intercede for those who are sinning, and ask for God's
mercy. This is our job, brothers and sisters! For some say that, being gay is okay, we cannot judge them, we need to have mercy and grace and yet others, being gay is extremely sinful, and they objected, they teased, they hated those who are in sin. We have groups of extremists in the society
who claimed to be our Christian brothers and sisters today. Some do not care, some care too much that they hated those who sin. Perhaps we need to know that, through Jesus' examples in the Bible, Jesus hates the 'sin' that bind peoples, it is our 'sin' that bind peoples up in bondage, and they do not
experience freedom in Christ because they are bound by their sins. Jesus never hate the person somehow. If you read the Bible carefully, with an open heart and mind, not with a Pharisee' spirits.

You shall see the difference.
Jesus goes over to those sinners most of the time. Did Jesus reject them? No. The people who rejected the sinners, is the Pharisees. Those who think highly of themselves and despise those who are in bondages of sin.
May you and me, act differently and not like the Pharisees, but have a heart of Jesus in us, that we will go over to those who are sinning with a compassionate heart. And about same-sex marriage, we know the design of God one man, one woman. We need to fight against tolerance that we think we should
not do anything. Just accept anything that comes to our society. NO. We need to fight against the passivity in our spirits, that we stand up for what is right, speak it loud and voice out. Let us hate the sin enough to save some in our society, speak the love language to those who sin and struggle, that they
might receive the love of Christ, not criticism or hatred or condemnation from quoting scriptures to them, not that we act like a Pharisees, condemning them to death but act like Jesus in their midst. That
we might bring some to Christ.
