Let God's Will be Done
by S Mariah

"Let Your Will be Done, Oh Lord." The Church cries out very often...We pray that prayer on Sundays, and in our prayer time, we sometimes do that also. Yes, it is somehow very easy to say it, in truth, we can find it hard at times...and especially when we want something, we love to hold onto something we love, we want...and if we pray like this and really mean it in our prayer, that means we let God to have His say, not us.

If we say, "Lord, okay, I don't choose which way, you choose for me, I don't want my way, I want your way." Many times we realize that God's way is the very opposite way to us, we thought we know what we want, but God in His own way, give us what we may very least expected to have or we might never thought of it as a choice or an option at all.

God can surprise us, when we hand the 'rights' to Him and let Him choose something for us.

We perhaps know that it's true, that's why we hesitate many times, not really mean it when we pray, "God, let Your Will be done in my life." And you might feel so risky about praying that prayer, you might feel regret a little as well....as you have just prayed to God handing your will unto Him. Unto His lordship, that He has a right now, to show you whatever He wants to in your situation...

Ummm.....

Have we experienced that?
Maybe when we feel uneasy after praying like that, or we might even don't want to pray "His Will" be done, we need to know that, God knows what's best for you and me. God knows, and He won't give you a snake when you ask for bread, He won't give you something that is harmful to you, or not good for you. He created you and me, He knows what is good for you, good for me. Based on this fact, we can rest assure in His knowledge of what we really need in life.

Can we be assured of His knowledge, that He is an all KNOWING God?

^Dear Lord, help us to learn this lesson today, rest in you and believe you have our best in your heart and mind, You want to give the best to your children, Thank you for all your promises to us, Thank you for loving us. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
