Sunny Delight
by PamFord Davis It would be interesting to sit in board meetings as big wheels discuss possible names for new products. They are about to launch their creation in a big promotional campaign; the name must create interest, and be easy to remember. Some product names become so easily recognizable, consumers around the world interchange them; Coke is cola and many request Kleenex when purchasing tissues. The popular beverage Sunny Delight caught my attention. It has such a positive image, sunshine and pure pleasure! How often do we find delight in our relationship with the Son? "Be delighted with the Lord. Then he will give you all your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him to help you do it and he will. Your innocence will be clear to everyone. He will vindicate you with the blazing light of justice shining down as from the noonday sun. Rest in the Lord; wait patiently for him to act. Don't be envious of evil men who prosper (Psalm 37:4-7 The Book/ Living Bible)." I have found delight in my intimate relationship with God's Son! Yes!
