While everybody is talking who is listening ?
by boatrocker Gilmore Our Creator created our ears to hear his voice. Our Loving God didn't force us to listen to him; he has given us a choice. It is written that we should be quick to listen but slow to speak. But most speak more than listen, having conversations that are weak. He has given most the ability to speak and have an opinion. But his voice is drowned even though he has the ultimate dominion. Why does an earth, filled with people that he created, continue to go astray? Why do his people chose to listen to other people who are in opposition to his way? Our God, who created the mouth,also has a mouth to speak. Is there a wisdom greater than the wisdom of God that we should perpetually seek? Our Heavenly Father has all the answers and desires us to seek him for his guidiance. Instead of having God as our best friend, many have settled with only having him as an acquaintance. Don't be like most who do all the talking but when God speaks they choose not to listen. Let us be children of God who listen and obey our Heavenly Father without strife or contention.
