Port Hood by Ocean Deep
by Richard L. Provencher A rogue wind creates marauders of darkness blackened clouds roiling above the waves, whitecaps striving against the shore. Inside Atlantic's confusion, one sleek fishing boat hoists its catch, a 647 lb tuna; lobster, mackerel and codfish awaiting turns families wrapped in boardwalk cheers, sharing space by stacked lobster traps. I want a chance to race the wind, and bring home a bragging catch in my own Lady Shelby boat. Richard L. Provencher Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
