Fairy Tales Do Not Come True
by PamFord Davis

Once upon a time and happily ever after make great bedtime reading. Fantasy and imagination are fruit of an active mind, can be signs of creativity and intelligence, but must be balanced with reality and sound judgment.

There is no place for fables or fairy tales in our faith. "For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will accumulate teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new. They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths (Titus 4:3-4 HCS)." Lord, I desire to be anchored in your truth. Open my eyes to see, ears to hear and heart to believe.
