Keyboard - Tongue
by PamFord Davis

My tongue is not one of my favorite body parts. Seriously, have you ever taken a good long look at tongues? They are not appealing to the sight, and best kept in our mouth where they belong. We appreciate their functions for speech and taste, but are not so crazy about their length, texture and ability to slip out at unexpected times.

Our animal friends also have tongues with little glamor. Last summer my husband and I took our grandson to a drive through safari park; a bison stuck his head in the driver side window and licked the window with its huge tongue, how gross!

I have been enlightened; the computer keyboard is my tongue. "My heart overflows with a goodly theme; I address my Psalm to a king. My tongue is like a pen of a ready writer (Psalm 45:1 Amplified Bible)." I have exchanged pens for a keyboard, and in blessings overflowing choose themes of praise to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I am ready to begin!
