Be Still and Know That I Am God
by Lili Richey Willard "Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 Is this not the hardest thing for us to do, especially when we are in a hurry for His help??? Be still...impossible! No, wait, isn't there something in the scriptures saying that with God all things are possible (Matt 19:26)? How do we know He is God? How do we believe when we are at our lowest point? How do we pull our faith out of the hole we have allowed it to fall into, when we do not even have the strength to be still??? Aha! Again, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Phil 4:13). We need never question the words of our LORD. When He speaks, or even whispers or thinks a thought, it will be done. So if we follow what He has told us, then we will reap the benefit..His love is awesome, and it is consuming. Give Him thanks, that He is a faithful God. He is the ONLY God. Amen. Blessings!
