Wise Words
by Bobbi Richardson

Proverbs 16:21 (NLT) - The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive.

As Christians we have wisdom, knowledge and understanding that comes from our Father.

Because we live in daily relationship with Him we stand out and are known for what we believe. We look to Him for guidance in everyday circumstances. We listen to His voice when we are unsure what to do. We do His work cheerfully and willingly. We speak kindly and gently no matter what the situation.

Those around us see the difference in our lifestyle.

This gives us power to persuade others.

Our words can bless or curse; bring hope or despair; build up or tear down.

It is our responsibility to use our words to help and not hurt.

If we are wise we will speak kindly and gently so others will be blessed and persuaded to know what we know.

I write because I want to share what Father God has taught me and because I want others to experience His love more and more. My prayer is that my words will inspire someone to seek Him, to find Him, to know Him, to love Him.
