Oh my love
by beatrice ofwona You have restored me when I thought I was finished And made me new again in you You have given me back all I thought I had lost and more And made me realize that I did not need it in the first place You have sustained me when all I thought I had was myself And made me see that you will never leave nor forsake me You have made me whole again from my brokenness and shame And have given me hope and a new lease of life You have covered my nakedness with your mercies And made me beautifully clothed in your love You have made me a table infront of my enemies And made me the envy of their eyes and gossip You have sat me with kings and humbled my doubts And made me see that nothing is impossible with you Oh my love! You have loved me even when I cursed you And made me cry for my lack of faithfulness You have held onto me even when I pushed you away And made me realize that you redeemed me once and for all You have watched me in my groans and in my loneliness And made use of this to grow me You have taught me more in pain, what the world never could in gain And made me see that I must share in your suffering to be like you You have gently tolerated my depressions and my sulking And helped me see who really has the final Word You have saved my soul when I could fallen into the abyss And made me know that you are my only love You have been God to me And made me see that you are also Abba Father Oh my love! How then I wish to know you more How then I wish to see you How then I wish to glorify your name How then I wish to do your bidding How then I wish to be like you How then I wish to love like you How then I wish to be obedient to you How then I wish to live for you How then I wish to let your will be done How then I love you Oh my love! May these words (sermons), from various men and women of God be a blessing to all. contact:[email protected] Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
