The Wind is Like a Peanut
by Richard L. Provencher

I want to make the wind wobble
and squirm

to capture its essence, feel
its magic

against my face, competing for
my attention.

I want to chew into its meat
scent teasing, savouring

like a mouthful of peanuts.
