A Fisherman's Son
by Richard L. Provencher Like a flashlight, the moonbeam shines. It covers a little boy. And Sandy, his dog. They sit on papa's dory. One day they will fish for cod. Sky turns dark, like a black blanket. Coyotes call. An owl hoots. "Supper!" mama calls. Feet hammer like thunder on the dock. "Coming!" (c) Richard L. Provencher Website: www.wsprog.com/rp/ Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
