Lullaby of Love
by PamFord Davis

Adam and Eve had no king-size bed, memory mattress, or down-filled comforter to cover their nakedness in their exclusive resort; yet the moon and stars were their canopy and eyes closed gently as God told them bedtime stories. Gentle breezes through rustling leaves played a lullaby of love while they drifted off to dreamland.

Sin has robbed us of many a good night's sleep. I perceive it is still possible to rest our heads upon pillows and cares on the Father's shoulders. "Now I lay me down to sleep..." It is my responsibility to lay down; the Lord will be faithful to provide peaceful rest. "When I lie down, I go to sleep in peace; you alone O Lord, keep me perfectly safe (Psalm 4:8 TEV)." Nighty night!
