Doing the Will of God
by Bobbi Richardson 1 John 2:17 - The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. All that the world has to offer will soon be gone. Whoever trusts in the things of the world will have nothing left. But those who seek to do the will of God will live with Him forever. How do we know God's will? His plan is unique for every one of His children, but the one thing He desires from each of us is a close, personal, individual relationship. We do not need to struggle to find God's will for our lives. Instead we are to spend time with Him, read and study His Word and learn to live in His presence every day. As we grow closer to Him we will be more sensitive to His leading; we will learn to listen for His voice. Our Father will reveal His will for every area of our lives, for everything we do if we will stay close to Him and seek Him always. The things of this world will pass away, but those who live in close relationship with God, read and study His Word, talk with Him and seek His counsel will live forever. I write because I want to share what Father God has taught me and because I want others to experience His love more and more.
