DOG-DAY AFTERNOON
by Paul Curtis I start in the morning With a spring in my step Like an excited puppy Full of vigour and pep But at the end of the day I walk with a heavier step And feel less like a puppy And more like "old shep" I am a fifty something family man with a passion for writing and I draw inspiration from those around me. paul.curtis1956 @ btinternet.com http://www.dreamagic.com/poetry/poetry.html http://www.peculiar-poetry.com/ Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
