The Life Giving Fountain
by

From this fountain, we all have the privilege to draw,
Life giving water, that leaves us without a flaw,
It quenches thirst, our lives it gleams,
Its power revives, our souls it redeems.

Daily usage, keeps us fresh and green,
As the grass of the earth and its wonderful scene,
It makes us burst with love, we long for its shower,
To drench our souls with joy and fits of laughter.

It is there for the rich, also the poor,
Our ways it blossoms, and enriches the souls,
It is available in the midst of the wilderness,
To give us drink in times of distress.

The heat of the sun nurtures and warms us,
While our roots are spread out at the fountain so gracious,
To drink of the water, that is forever free,
Empowered to give us hope and life eternally.

It is accessible in times of sadness and moments of distress,
Our souls it hydrates, when in agony and bitterness,
When we stand and plea on the dry ground of chaos and wickedness,
It inundates us with power, truth and righteousness.

This life borne water with its uncompromising love,
Will forever be our advocate and heavenly dove,
Its freshness gives us much delight,
It strengthens our beings with power and might.

A well of water, in us it will forever be,
Springing up to life eternally,
And rivers will flow in our yearning bellies,
For others to drink, as much as they please.

Gracious is this fountain, I love so dearly,
Peace it gives to all who partake of it freely,
On Calvary Mountain where stands this fountain,
Is a sure place believers ought to visit often.

Approaching it persistently and drawing generously,
Generates a line of communication that's clear and holy,
And a voice admonishing to immerse deep within,
To lavish in its blessings and all therein.

Fountain of life, thank you for redemption,
And the promise of your cup of salvation,
You will always be my hope and destiny,
Thou blessed one so pure and Holy.

Now I know the gift of God and its promises,
I joyfully accept its truth and righteousness
Securely am I positioned, in this fountain of love divine,
Where my will and His, are divinely aligned.
