Prayer of confidence
by My heart shall not fear because you are with me, Neither am I dismayed, for I am forever free, With your help and strength, I can stand upright, Righteous is your hand that embraces me tight. With confidence I now wait, as you renew my strength, On eagle's wings I mount and fly with faith, Assured, you would not let weariness overtake my soul, Neither let a stumbling block cause me to roll. Pour your water upon this thirsty and weary land, Flood my dry ground; let me in your power stand, Outpour your spirit upon my seeds, Let bountiful blessings take care of all our needs. I will trust in you Lord, with all my soul, You have planted me by the waters, with pure hands of gold, My root outspread, my green leaves dance with glee, Your tender voice whispers your love so melodiously. In my wealthy place, I now stand with bliss, Enjoying this royal privilege and inherited righteousness, It would take me joyfully into eternal life, That the bridegroom has awaiting, for His worthy wife.
