Just Hanging On
by Richard L. Provencher Hanging onto a wall I see children playing in the sand castles taking shape sun dancing on a clam-shelled beach and I hear about smoothed over rock imperfections. Beholding this Godly scene my fingers struggle to hold on legs stretching toes barely touching the elusive earth. Evening's dusk captures the horizon and I finally drop a mere few feet to sounder footing back to the memories of my own youth and the protective shelter of His wings. Richard L.
