Back Then Times
by Richard L. Provencher I scoffed a chocolate bar from Bill's store when I was ten (didn't enjoy it then and don't relish the image now) forgiven by Jesus during those days when a nickel was King and us boys had so little noticing only rich kids with two pair of shoes and certainly lots of chocolate bars from their parents who drove cars and lived in nice houses. Our parents looked older than they should have with too many beer as treats and fathers home at two in the morning afraid to wake up anyone, but did. Jesus forgave them too. Richard L. Provencher Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
