Jesus Is At The Threshold
by Deborah Ann Belka

They say they are well-off,
and have everything they need.
They say their goods are plenty,
and their pleasures far exceed.

They don't know they are wretched,
nor in a state of pathetic misery.
They don't know they are deprived,
for they're caught in Satan's trickery.

They go to church each Sunday,
and listen to those who preach their lies.
Deception falls on their naked ears,
and the false prophets blind their eyes.

They don't heed the Revelation,
nor about sin do they want to hear.
They turn away from God's judgments,
for the last days, they no longer fear.

But to God their works are lukewarm,
to Him they are neither hot nor cold.
And He will vomit them all out one day,
or refine them as if they were gold.

He will give them all new garments,
and they will be as white as snow.
He will open up their poor hearts,
so His wealth they will come to know.

Yes, this last church is corrupted,
and Jesus they will always try to mock.
But they teach with seducing spirits,
so to drown out His faithful knock.

But Jesus is at the threshold,
and anyone can open up the door.
He'll forgive those who've been deceived,
and their souls He will restore.

Revelation 3:14-22
