To Montreal
by Richard L. Provencher Wheels are a cascading clatter on rails of steel coaches sh-shaking and passengers drifting through interruptions of rest on and on they rumble-mumble a repetitious journey across miles of pasture trees clumped in silhouettes. Conversations stretching through the corridors soon an attendant repeating: "Montrealonly fifteen minutes" her French accent penetrating my English background the train continuing its clamber. Crossing twilight's barrier everything is faceless except the highway as cars flash-light though darkness. Richard L. Provencher Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
