Do We Believe?
by Bobbi Richardson John 11:25-26 (NIV) - Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" Jesus made Martha an amazing promise. He promised to make the way to live even after physical death. Anyone who believed Him would live forever. Then He demonstrated His power and promise by raising Lazarus from death to life. In believing that He is the way to resurrection and life and that He accomplished what He promised, we too receive life. Like Lazarus, we are brought back from death into new life. Life that we have now, in Him; believing, hoping, serving, learning. And life forever with Him; no more pain, no more fear, no more temptation. If we put our hope and trust in Him we will live for Him and in Him until physical death or until He comes again. If we believe in His power and promise we will live with Him forever. It is His promise. Do we believe this? I write because I want to share what Father God has taught me and because I want others to experience His love more and more.
