I Talk to Myself
by PamFord Davis

I talk to myself "What is your problem?

Are you kidding? Do you want a list?"

The pity party begins with a bang!

Complain, complain, complain

Grumble, grumble, grumble

Murmur, murmur, murmur

Poor, pitiful Pam!

Think again.

"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance (Psalms 43: KJV)."

Quiet, that is what I need. I need someone to turn down the volume inside my mind. The oppressive noise is a real downer!

"Lord, please turn down the negative volume and crank up the praise and thanksgiving!"
