Distorted Vision
by PamFord Davis Mom began to worry; strange shapes were appearing before her eyes. Some resembled spiders! That would be impossible to ignore. A visit to an eye doctor alleviated her fears; he diagnosed her problem as cataracts and labeled the critter invaders as floaters. She made an appointment for outpatient surgery and hoped the routine laser procedure would correct her vision. The results were amazing! She had not realized how distorted her vision was until the barriers were removed. Did Dad put in brighter light bulbs above the bathroom mirror; why were there so many wrinkles? Tiny ants which before went undetected in her kitchen now faced extermination. I want to see God clearly. "What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face-to-face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete-as complete as God's knowledge of me. Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love (1Corinthians 13:12-13TEV)."
