The Southern Shore

Provencher A neighbour child watches from the hillside, open-mouthed harbour teasing, gray dawn alive pretends to be one of the tourists recording digital sights on the Marine Trail and our little man never tires, listening to the ocean call, calling. Surrounded by craggy shorelines and tidal retreat, sand dunes blossoming the boy admires the scenic montage, as seagulls stall in flight, signatures prescribed for shapely rocks, an Atlantic view. Richard L. Provencher Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel.
