Port Hood at Cape Breton
by Richard L. Provencher Clouds are plotting with darkness as wind-driven waves follow whitecaps in a pounding against the shore. From ocean's turmoil a sleek fishing boat boasts its catch a 647 lb tuna lobster cod and mackerel awaiting their turn. Families wrap around the dock sharing space beside stacks of lobster traps -- oh for a chance to race the wind in a 'Lady Shelby' boat and bring home bragging rights. Richard L. Provencher Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
