Why God destroyed the Human Race
by Jack Vorster It is estimated that more than 150 million people were destroyed in the Noahic flood and several million more during the time period covered by the Old Testament - all either directly or indirectly at the command of God. A great many people today conveniently refuse to believe in a supposedly loving God, using as an excuse the "cruelty" of a God who would destroy men, women and innocent children. Even the tragedies of today are are being attributed to and blamed on God. Is there any justification for such a stand against the Creator of the Universe and everything therein? A quick overview of the circumstances leading to the extermination of those millions of people might reveal a different picture. Cain, the very first human being born into this world, murdered Abel, the second human being born into this world. Their parents, as well as their offspring to follow, all lived for almost a thousand years each - enough time for them to generate a population count of 150 to 200 million people within 1700 years. However, the race of human beings living at that time were wicked and corrupt, with nothing but evil intent existing between them. They were about to wipe each other out without the help of God. Just think, the world population at the present time is 7 billion and we are able to destroy the Earth and every human being along with it virtually overnight for the same reasons those mere 150 million people back then had to turn it into a reality. In other words, had God not intervened there would not have been a single human being living on this planet today. God made it possible for the human race to exist today by destroying all but eight people and then laid down laws for them to keep to ensure the longevity of the existence of mankind. He named them Israel. To further ensure their survival God commanded them to root out the evil numbers - from their own offspring who had formed nations and shunned the laws of God - from the face of the Earth. We exist today as a result of God-fearing Jews. Even so, the human race is responsible for the death of more human beings since then than had ever perished at the Hand of God. Over the last 30 years alone the people of the United States of America have slaughtered 50 million of their own children in a process given the name of abortion. Were they allowed to live the population of the USA would have almost doubled by today, which means, in effect, that they killed off almost half their population, diminished their economy and lessened their strength as a nation. Two thousand years ago a Jew by the name Jesus - the Word of God made flesh - entered the equation and kept God's laws on our behalf. He took the wickedness of the nations upon Himself and dealt it a death blow, so that we could live in love, peace, health and prosperity. But mankind has obliterated and outlawed His Name in the public domain and now want to destroy the land (Israel) He is about to set foot on as promised and from where He will reign as King of His Kingdom on Earth. Alas, we prefer to steal, kill and destroy and blame God. Now retired, Jack Vorster has a background in marketing in the field of newspaper advertising.
