Lord, Teach Me
by Deborah Ann Belka Lord, teach me to be calm, when there's problems all around. Let me learn to stand firm, not on shaky, rocky ground. Teach me to believe, to trust when I am troubled. Let me have a single mind, not one that is bent and doubled. Teach me to know, my times are in Your hands. Let me see Your valley, not the trembling, faulty lands. Teach me to understand, the true meaning of my hope. Let me hang on to Your love, so in my struggles I can cope. Teach me to go on, when things are not aright. Let me come to know the peace, that comes with being in Your light. Teach me to have faith, with a heart that is open wide. Let me find Your wings shelter, so I can rest by Your side!
