Fool for God (Pt5)
by SIXTUS ONYEANUSI

Vs 1:

I've ceased to trust in men's chariots, no matter how glorious
I've ceased to lean on men's thoughts, they're later porous
But the Lord's word is most assuringso precious
I'm tagged a fool, for my wisdom is of Him
Only a fool could serve Him better and see Him later

Chorus:

I'm a fool for God
I'm not of the world
To have His heart won,
I've given up my all
I'm happy He's taken my mind
Glad He's eaten deep in me
If I have another choice
I'll still choose to be fool for Him
Living for Him in full makes me rejoice
They call me a fool but Heaven smiles upon me

Vs2:

For man shall not live by bread alone,
But by every word God sends from His throne
So when before me is set the king's meal
And I rather purpose to taste no food
Because they live for their bellythey call me a fool

Vs3:

When someone steps right on my tip toe
When someone takes my one dearest coat
And they expect me to arise and oppose
I become like a lamb taken to a shearer's side
They call me a fool who don't know his right
