Unanswered Prayer
by Deborah Ann Belka Unanswered prayers, where do they go? The answer to this, everyone wants to know. Do they aimlessly travel, through time and space? Do they fail to reach heaven, and met up with God's grace? Unanswered prayers, so many are made. And so often our faith, begins to dim and fade. But, God has His reasons, for not fulfilling our prayers. And it has nothing to do with, whether or not He still cares. Unanswered prayers, God has heard each one. And sometimes they are unclear, when we don't trust in His Son. Sometimes they go by the wayside, because of the bitterness we hold. And the root of unforgiveness, has made our hearts grow cold. Sometimes it's unconfessed sin, that stands in the way. Sometimes it's the motives, we use when we pray. Sometimes it's our faith, and our wavering doubt. Sometimes it's when we shut, God's authority out. But most of the time, it's because we're too impulsive. And things have to be right, for God is never compulsive. Unanswered prayers, God has a good reason. And His answers will come, in their due season! ~~~~~~~~~~ John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 1 John 3:22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil. James 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
