Sunset at Lambton Centre
by Richard L. Provencher

Sun-streaks fold across
Huron waters,
shimmers
toward the shore

and silently we
peek
from behind a
Maple,
hidden swish of leaves
reflect the
smooth---

Gods work is at hand, a quiet
ripple
bullfrogs strange
sounds

a crane dips low and
canoes pause
as we accept

His presence
