TAKE UP CHALLENGES
by John Seun Two men were sent to an Island by a shoe manufacturing company for marketing. On arrival they discovered that people on the island don't wear shoes base on a primitive belief. Immediately, one of the two men decided to return and report back to the company that it was mission impossible. The other one, however, stayed behind on the island and began to converse and convince the Islanders on the importance of wearing a pair of shoe. Two months later he was able to cover the whole island thereby establishing one of the largest markets for the company. What you see as an obstacle is just a challenge you must conquer to breakthrough. Christ had to face the cross to achieve dominion and liberation for all and now that earned Him authority; every other names bow to His. We are all students in this life and from time to time we must take lessons and examinations. You don't move higher up to another phase if you fail the examination for the phase you are in. David had to kill two beasts before God gave him go ahead to kill Goliath. Moses dropped from the palace to become a shepherd before God gave him go ahead to liberate Israelites. Challenges make you value victory. You don't know the value of a victory if you did not face a challenge for it. God will never allow you to go through a test He knows you can not pass. 1 Corinthians 10:13Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.(GNT). Tests are examinations and examinations are meant to examine your readiness for another class. Please note that examinations are not for people to fail but the joy of any examiner is to see his/her students pass. It is also an avenue to sieve the weak from the strong. When you are determined to take up challenges any level you are in life becomes mere stepping stone. A man of God usually prays a simple prayer that 'what you are now is the least you will ever be in life'. May God grant you the grace to overcome challenges with trophies to show in Jesus name!
