Mortality Rate
by PamFord Davis

Statisticians monitor everything from births to deaths; mortality rates are an indicator of health, economic and environmental concerns. If health officials note an unexpected rise in the mortality rate in a geographical region, they are quick to begin to begin a thorough investigation to find root causes before it spreads to adjacent areas.

We are all knocking at death's door. "And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgment; so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, not to bear sin, to those who eagerly await Him, for salvation (Hebrews 9:27-28 NAS)." Mortals die; the Master saves!
