Global Dilemma

God's word is timely and relevant to my daily circumstances; the writers were facing nitty-gritty issues and shared pearls of wisdom. A down economy sounds so trite. An up economy is fleeting. Many of our current calamities revolve around credit in relationship to individuals, families, companies and nations worldwide. Debt is a global dilemma.

"The poor are ruled by the rich, and those who borrow are slaves of moneylenders (Proverbs 22:7 CEV)." We cherish our freedoms and are blind to our shackles of bondage and captivity. Buy now, pay later has become our anthem of allegiance. Cash and carry was cast aside as penny pincher miser memories. "Lord, deliver us from evil!"
