Gratitude
by Samuel Bannerman

"And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan." (Luke 17:15-16)
Gratitude is sort of being thankful; readiness to return kindness. Its a feeling of being grateful and wanting to express your thanks.

When we feel and show thanks because somebody has done something kind for you or has done as you asked. The feeling alone does not show your gratefulness, but the actions behind that feelings: what one shows or expresses is the act.

Even in your most difficult times, you can find much things to be grateful for.

Why should you be grateful?
Because you require others to show you their gratefulness. "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12)

We must show in our actions that we are grateful for whatever God or man has down for us. We must be grateful even in our most difficult times. Because knowing that God's strength is made perfect even in our weakness, and we boast more in our weakness in other for God's strength to bring us perfect strength.

Giving thanks is also an act of gratitude. From the scripture passage, the Bible says, "...he fel on his face at his feet, giving him thanks..."
Remember, out of ten lepers, only one came back to give JESUS CHRIST his thanks. He did not let pride set in his heart to say, why or who is he that I should kneel or any down to thank Him. God is expecting us to have such humbleness to say just thank you Father. Remember, the Bible admonish us to give thanks in all things.

The Bible says, "had it not been the LORD who was on our side, where would we have been?" We would perhaps be dead, sick in bed, paralysed by car accident or something devastating might have happened to us. All the ten lepers were cleansed, but only one came to thank God. Do not let your circumstances hinder you from glorifyig God.

Show some gratitude.
