Trick or Tract!
by Deborah Ann Belka Oh, the devil loves Halloween, giving out treats with his tricks and he doesn't care one lick what tender heart he pricks. His bag is deep with trickery, as are his sugar coated lies he makes himself look yummy in all his young victim's eyes. He will do just about anything, to con and hoodwink you and he doesn't care one bit about the harm, he plans to do. Tis the season he is honored, and he is laughing just like hell for we have bought into the sack of the sweet evil, he has to sell. We dress our kids in costumes, and make them look little goblins then take them to haunted houses with scary ghosts in bloody coffins. They bob around for red apples, and we say it's just for fun but, I remember what happened when Eve took a bite out of one. As Christians we must not let, the wicked one into our house we have to put an end to his holiday and his message we must douse. So this year when you open the door, to a child asking for a trick or a treat give them a Gospel tract instead then Jesus they will meet!
