H&H
by Lisa Kartos

The harder life is, the more you suffer, the sweeter the release when your soul departs.
Embrace the hurt, what an idea

A hurting heart. The heart hurting.
Incredible how any one person reading these three words can almost certainly identify with it, but would we all physically describe it the same
To me its a moderately crushing feeling in my left chest, maybe not so much a hurt as it is a suffocation, a feeling as if you are crushing in on yourself, a near implosion or maybe an entrapment-ish experience. It soon starts to steal breaths and uproot all kinds of whirlwinded negative thoughts, and here comes the only release you have, the tears.
Where you feel that your dream is indeed possible, but so near to impossible it staggers you.
If only your dream were either very realistically possible (ie. easy to obtain), or definitively impossible. Its enough to drive you insane, to make your heart do all except audibly scream.
When you can envision yourself doing what you're supposed to do, but you're too ______ to do it.

How do you train yourself to embrace the hurt, to actually use it in a beneficial way?
So humanistic to reject the pain, to try and make it stop as unscathed and as soon as possible.
But what if you stood up in the face of it, accepted it, took it on, capitalized from it, showed no fear nor mercy toward it. (I dare not put a question mark, because I'm not sure I want the answer to an answerable question.)

"But with God, ALL things are possible."
Matthew 19:26

therefore, no person has an excuse for not pursuing something great, something bigger than you, and even though it will admittedly break you down along the way, you cling to the hardship of it, let it propel you, let it produce a perseverance, a character, a hope
In the name of the Lord, pursue it
