Land of Adam and Eve
by Richard L. Provencher Bands of evening colour like a smile from God across the horizon as embers within a camp-fire of clouds last peek, day's journey hovering over January's drifting snow rumbles of darkness are now ominous, rolling forward in tumbles of foam. Our pacing hurries across Economy Lake, as silhouettes etched on the homeward trail-- snowshoes shuffle to shore as clouds whirl in anticipation and slender boughs shiver amid tugs of sweeping wind, a lighter Fall brings snowflakes as tender kisses. (c) 2011 Richard L. Provencher Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
