Scourge, affliction, rejection by those He created and came to save, humiliation, Vilification- parade like a common criminal, misunderstood, false accusation,
The Lamb of God taking the sins of the whole world; humility; condemnation
Being led like a lamb to the slaughter, Obedience to the Father; compassion
Sorrow, shame healing by His stripes, bearing our sicknesses oppression,;
Laying aside His glory and majesty; making Himself of no reputation
Bruise for your sins and my sins, taking our poverty in all its ramifications,
Punishment to secure our peace with God, carrying the curse of the Law,
Curse; a seal of God's acceptance and approval; a fulfilment of the law
Regeneration of those who come to Him; God-man taking the place of man on the cross,
Redemption from the curse; opening of the prison gate; the bruising of the His heels Justification of those who repent- admit their guilt and sin, seed of the Woman; the Crushing of Satan's head; the shedding of the blood of the eternal covenant;, types and Bridging of the gap between man and God, shadows of the high priest, the lamb slain for Atonement; the forgiveness, bringing good news, year of Jubilee- freedom of freedoms.

Isaiah 53

18 " The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
