Renewed, Day By Day
by Deborah Ann Belka I would have lost heart, and given up on spiritual things I would have wasted away from the troubles, that life brings. I would have passed out, and lost my faith and my hope I would have gone down for the count and thrown in the rope. I would have sunk under the pressure, and let my fears take me down I would have called it quits and be willing to sink and drown. I would have been crushed, under the weight of my heavy load I would have gotten lost on the straight and narrow road. But, I kept my eyes on Jesus, and He renewed me day by day He promised He would lead me and to show me ~ heaven's way. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
