Watch Your Back!
by PamFord Davis Friends tell us, "Watch your back!" They are well aware that danger lurks in shadows cast by deceivers who smile in our face, as they prepare to stab us in the back. It is not an easy task to guard ourselves from what is sneaking up from the rear; we seldom see what approaches from behind until we label it hindsight; by then our reputations have already suffered severe damage. The all-powerful God can be trusted to see all and know all threats to our personal safety. He not only watches our backs, He also clears our path ahead of predators. "Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly; your vindicator shall go before you, the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard (Isaiah 58:8 NRS)."
