Grandpa Knew

Those were days of the homestead, country schools, and dirt roads that seemed always to lead home.

It was when Grandma and the boys walked to the church in the little village.

Grandpa read the Bible at home.

One day a son stayed home to see why Grandpa did not go along to church. There followed a lesson not forgotten.

Grandps read of one mediator between God and man, the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ and Saviour, alone having eternal life, which is also promised to believers in Him at the time of resurrection. He understood faith in the spirit of the Christ within.

Some may call it history while others call it life.
