by Cindy Jones The Answered Prayer Listen and you may hear His voice softly Vibrating, stimulating, escalating through the air, As a song sent on an angel's wings, Seeking a heart that cares May be that it be in the shadow That will ever gently to land .... This answer - this voice ... This softness of the Master's hand Yielding to the needs that comes high in flight, Waking the Heavenly Host to the prayer in the night Waiting .. hoping .. seeking to be heard Grasping at it to be carried before the Master's face, Yielding it with all honor As on the altar it is placed. Received ! Received ! It has been received. This prayer, this cry, And all the heavenlies is stirred, At the awesomeness and power As this prayer has been heard. Listen and you may hear His voice softly Vibrating, stimulating, escalating through the air, As a song from an angel's wings, Seeking a heart that cares I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother of six and a minister of the gospel. My heart is for people who have been damaged by the hands of man and who feels themselves unworthy of love.
