Jesus Dancer
by Melissa Martin

Innocent child dancer
Wondrous praise prancer

Leaping and laughing
Expressing joy with clapping

Tapping and twirling
Smiling and swirling

Worshipping Lord in song
In awe she sings along

Following the music beat
Pleasing God with her feet

Audience of one
She dances for God's son

Gifted woman dancer
Searching for an answer

Seeking a divine calling
Heaven is applauding

Giving God the glory
Her body tells the story

Audience of plenty
She prays for the many
