Is ASAP Our Way Of Life
by Leonard Granger

LEN'S LINES --- A Little Religion On A Positive Note By Len Granger

Our life as a Christian is in constant change as we face the challenges of everyday. We like to see our Prayers to our Lord and Savior answered ASAP, and we are often impatient to see the results.

Sometimes we may be talking to a friend and mention that ASAP we plan to do that this or that. Then again we may be faced with an impending danger and call for assistance to come to our aid ASAP. When it was an emergency team coming to our aid, they arrived ASAP which is their model of responding.

We often speak of a plan to our spouse, " Let us do this ASAP and that may make us both happy as we look to the future. " Yes, the ASAP set of mind often brings results to our lives and we pray it is all in God's plan, as only He has the roadmap of our lives.

Now, when we think we are the one in charge of everything, we can find ourselves at times greatly disappointed with our failures and limitations. Sometimes when everything is going our way, we may think WOW , We did it on our own and we forget God is in charge of everything that comes our way. Whether it is what we desire or his plan for us, we should praise and thank HIM every day.In everything, we can rest assured and find peace and comfort in our lives if we try to follow in our Lord's footsteps, by praying often and reading God's word the Bible.

Now let us put ASAP in a less demanding definition instead of need to be concerned type of crisis. ASAP should be our first response to all of life's decisions and challenges in today's hurried world. What a comforting feeling comes over us as a Christian knowing we have a constant friend that will never leave us. Even if we stumble and fall our Lord is there to pick us up and even at other times he carries us through life's troublesome waters until we can get our feet on dry ground again.

Lord, we thank you for your Mercy and will come to you each morning in Prayer and during the day ASAP. Our first thought should be " ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER" in all our daily activities, whether facing danger or planning for the future. We know prayer to you, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, brings Physical Blessings , Material Blessings and Spiritual Blessings that are showered on us believers. We read in Jeremiah 33 verse 3, " Call to me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."

Let us put our faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ and join in the church of our choice this coming Sunday as we worship and praise Him.

God Bless America
