Sprinkling and Wrinkle Free
by PamFord Davis

Wrinkle free clothes are wonderful yet there is a feeling of great accomplishment following the completion of ironing several pieces. The finale is carrying them on hangers to the closet. I clearly remember helping Mom with the family ironing; there seemed to be no bottom to the laundry baskets packed with our large families' wrinkled clothes. I continued the process of sprinkling followed by rolling each piece, and then unrolling one at a time before ironing.

Sprinkling, in addition to heat from the iron, removed wrinkles. The Lord is in the process of cleansing us and removing wrinkles in His church. Our wrinkles are not the obvious found on faces; He finds these deep within. "That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless] (Ephesians 5:27 Amplified)." He is completing the job and will proudly take us, wrinkle free, to heaven!
