One and Won
by PamFord Davis Unity and harmony seem to be out of our reach. Husbands and wives are at a stalemate. Children rebel against parental authority. The talk at the water cooler proves there is trouble in the ranks. Election Day reveals the electorate splits their vote right down the middle. Churches split and congregations scatter. The Lord prayed that we would be one, living in harmony with Him, His Father and with one another. Listen in as He communed with a burdened heart. "May they all be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I in You (John 17:21a HCS)." One plus one= won. "May they also be one in Us, so the world may believe You sent Me (John 17:17:21b HCS). Lost will be won to Christ when they see Him living in and through us. Belief about a historical Jesus will turn to believing in Him as personal Savior and Lord.
