The Latter Rain
by Deborah Ann Belka

I can feel the sprinkling,
of the latter rain
I can see the first drops
falling on a world full of pain.

I can tell the time is near,
by the color of the skies
I can hear the thunder roar
over the False Prophets lies.

I can spot the drought,
upon the nations of the land
I can observe the hunger
from not trusting in God's hand.

I can sense the precipitation,
of wars and rumors of every kind
I can recognize the dribble
that Satan's uses on the mind.

I can see disease's down pouring
as it spreads from coast to coast
I can tell of the ungodly leaders
teeming to be the Anti-Christ host.

I can hear the violet sputter,
beneath the earth's shaky crust
I can see how sin has drenched
those saturated in their lust.

I can sense a deluge coming,
when the latter rain will fall
I can hear God's trumpet spewing
all people, this is your wakeup call!

Matthew 24:6-7

" For many shall come in my name, saying, I
am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of
wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all
these things must come to pass, but the end
is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be
famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in
divers places."
