However some things just stand the test of time. The Bible is one of those things. The Bible is not just a bunch of opinions spouted by crazy religious nuts.. For thousands of years the Bible has been a source of comfort. It does not matter if you are rich or poor, young or old, famous or infamous, there are some things that are common to all of us. Facing the death of a person you care for is one of those things.. Death is not the favorite topic of most people, and going through the grieving process is not something that people volunteer for. Unfortunately all of us must face it one time or another. That is why I compiled a list of comforting Bible verses about death that will help a person through this process.
